Confirm you have inserted 2 “AA” batteries into the MiniRemote and that your Wii is powered “ON.”
Your MiniRemote may not have synced properly with your Wii. To sync your MiniRemote, follow these instructions.
Some games need to be launched before the MiniRemote will connect. Always confirm that your TV and Wii console are powered “ON,” and that your game has been placed into the Wii console.
When trying to sync additional MiniRemotes a game may require you to choose (with a synced remote) the total number of players before other remotes can be synced. For instance, you want to play a 2 player game but only one of the controllers is connected. Before the 2nd Remote can connect, you must first choose 2 players in the game you want to play.
